Students in first period turned in the reading comprehension acitivities for Richard Wright's short story.
We completed a vocbulary activity that asked us to use the vocabulary words in a sentence.
I returned papers and explained our assessment portfolio. We went over the reading comprehension questions for "The Most Dangerous Game," focusing on how they should go about choosing the correct answer.
We listened to "The Cask of Amontillado," highlighting passages that appealed to our senses and we dscussed Poe's use or irony.
Our homework is to finish the short story and do the questions on page 80.
