We began class with a vocabulary unit review activity. I noticed that many students could not complete the activity because we still don't know our vocabulary or we aren't able to read critically. If this applies to you, you need to study your words and spend some time on the sadlier-oxford website completing some of the reading practices. These are good for pre-SAT/PSAT testing.
After our vocabulary review we worked on finish our model paragraphs on Poe and Justice. First period has to write a concluding sentence, but fourth period finished the writing. Anyone absent will need to get with a classmate to get our writing notes from today's class.
HW: Continue to work on study cards. Check #2 will take place tomorrow. We will begin previewing The Miracle Worker. Student will have the 10 questions that they should be able to answer about the play. The test over this play will be on 10/6.
